MOVE PLANNING

Conduct timely move coordination meetings (monthly minimum)
Develop “Requests for Proposals” for move services
Evaluate and recommend movers
Departmental coordination and preliminary layouts
Coordinate vendors and develop detailed move schedule
Set move goals and allowable disruption

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Oversee construction and review contractor submittals
Conduct weekly site visits and participate in job progress meetings
Issue resolution
Track allowance expenditures
Review proposed changes and recommend appropriate action
Monitor construction schedule status and prepare bi-monthly reports
Coordinate vendor input to accommodate general contractor (avoid delays and conflict)

CONSTRUCTION CLOSE OUT

Establish and monitor substantial completion criteria
Develop all contractor punch lists
Secure certificate of occupancy and inspection final tags from general contractor
Secure final release of lien from contractors
Verify “as built” plans if required

MOVE COORDINATION

Conduct project team meetings between mover and client
Verify locations and planned destinations for each item
Establish department layout sheets with department coordinators
Set label numbering and color plan
Conduct packing meetings
Develop detailed move schedule – docks, freight elevators, etc.
Coordinate special movers – phone switches, computers, copiers, etc.

PROJECT CLOSEOUT

Verify that all punch list items are satisfactorily completed
Deliver warranty documents
Deliver operation and maintenance manuals
Conduct client satisfaction survey and project closeout meeting
Prepare list of milestone dates for follow-up
